blossom path

The rain here today has been of biblical proportions. Thankfully we didn't have to go to athletics in it. The cherry trees are raining their blossom onto the pavements, it is beautiful, I hope you agree.

Tonight I am helping out at an event to thank a group of Oxfam volunteers, one of whom has done 45 years! I can't begin to calculate how much that works out in hours given. What complete stars.

Update: party cancelled due to flood warning. Not surprised, pouring off the hills. :-(
