Something about ice cream and roundabouts

Today has been one of those days that, when described to somebody else, makes little sense at all yet to all involved brought joy, hilarity & the making of memories. From bacon brunch & girly giggles (not forgetting a hope-filled heart to heart!) with Kirsten to I can't even remember what was so funny silliness (& enough sensibility to create an accidentally delicious meal!) with Cam. Finally an evening of delicious ice cream, further hilarity, a return to childhood & a wee Musselburgh wander with just some of the lovely people I'm thankful to know :]

It has been a stonker (!) of a year, full of ups, downs & round the bends. Parts of me is sad to see it go, a big part of me is sad to say farewell to friends...but another part of me is excited for what's to come!

Now before this all gets too watery I shall leave it here and get some rest, for tomorrow some more fun awaits.

There really should be something to compare the size of that bowl two - all fifteen flavours of S. Luca ice cream that was available tonight!
