Shrewsbury Library Series no 3

History or vandalism?? I went upstairs in the library today and into the 'School Room'. Despite having visited the library many times before I've never been in there before. It was steeped in history and such a beautiful room - see here for an outside photo of the main window. I took an inside shot and lots of other photos but this was my favourite. I looked for Darwin's name but couldn't see it! The carvings, dating from the 17 and 1800s, were beautiful and all around the room which used to be the Sixth Form room of Shrewsbury School.
