Falkirk

Back in my car again, and more or less used to the change back from the e-type.

Headed off to the Falkirk Wheel. It was actually quite sunny when we arrived, though it clouded over while we were there. Impressive piece of engineering. We had a ride on the wheel, before heading off to Bannockburn.

Bannockburn itself is a bit of a disappointment, it has been absorbed into the suburbs of Stirling and does not give the impression of a location which was the subject of a major battle.

In the evening we had a very nice dinner at an Italian restaurant across the rood from the hotel. It is called Mama Mia, not a very original name but a very nice meal and friendly staff.
