Stirling Highland Hotel

This has been our home for the last few days, since Sunday, and with a series of catch up back blips I am now up to date again.

Until 1962 this building was the home of Stirling High School. It was then converted to a hotel. It is good that a listed building found another use after the school moved out.

We enjoyed our stay in Stirling, a short mini break, and enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Staff were friendly, the room comfortable, and the dining room surprisingly good on the two occasions we ate dinner in the hotel.

It poured with rain all the way from Stirling back to Aberdeen, so it did not seem so bad that our break had come to an end.
