Not a Bluebell in the Wood!

Another mixed bag of weather, wet, cold and windy to start. Sunny spells heavy showers and still windy later. Got an add on for the feeding station, to dispence Nyjer seed for Gold Finches. It had a tray which caught some of the seed discarded by the birds feeding from the original hopper above, it lasted less than an hour. Unsure if a gust of wind or a large bird trying to land on it were to blame! but I have effected a repair and hung it seperately.
We have Bluebells and Whitebells in the garden as I suspect have many others, but this is I think a "Lilacbell", set in a wood ! the wood is one of a couple of dead branch stubs saved while clearing gale damage earlier this year. I hope to utilize them in nest box construction for next year.
