A rare sight

No, I have not got into portraits, but this is the only real pic I got today. The baby is his niece, Randwell. John works on the farm in Lusangazi. He's 22, mad as a hatter, always cheerful and a brilliant worker.
He has found a girl to marry and we have to meet her tomorrow to discuss the dowry arrangements. She is educated to form 4 (A levels?) and her father wants to recoup the money spent on her!! (she is 18!) The jobs I get to do.
The pic was taken on a 20 acre farm we are thinking about buying, for widows and others to have a place of their own.
