The Tornado!

Another ludicrous trip to York. Even more ludicrous than last time, and with the awfy 'eavy bag still causing issues.

Up at 05:20, 3 four hours of travel, two hours spent 2.15m down a pit reduced to 0.75m2 by shoring. Lots of mud, yoga-style gymnastics with a shovel in a very confined space and wet feet and then 4 hours home... all made worthwhile by a lovely bit of Roman glassware - watch this space.

You were going to get a picture of my 'great escape'-esque tunnel excavation, but then I spotted this steam train in York Station. Lots of happy memories of my Papa and the Railway Museum. Must go to York for a proper visit next time and do normal tourist things.
