Saturday @ Makara

Saturday. Sleep in (a little). Visit the house we bought in Cannons Creek to document the before state (painting starting today). Go to Makara with sister and camera - walk around a couple of headlands before heading to Karori for lunch (via Meridian's West Wind wind farm). Enjoy an asparagus and tuna club sandwich (not keen, but ate on recommendation of cafe, and found it surprisingly delicious). Back home to see dogs and snooze in the sun on our bed. Now off to friends for dinner, taking mashed artichokes on which we will serve sliced mushrooms. Not a bad kind of a Saturday.
