Scaly tree

Taken while walking Tilly first thing. This is a 2" section of a small branch of one of the trees near the pond. Only had the G10 and its hand held so definition isn't great - but the growth resembles scales. About the only moment of tranquility today....

Much of the rest of the day spent rushing about taxiing kids, getting stuff fixed and doing bits n bobs.
