Buying a ticket for a gig by teutonic guitar genius Michael Schenker has been a bit of a gamble in the past. In fact, due to his well known problems with booze, I've heard the term "Schenkered" used to describe a state of advanced refreshment...
But at the Shepherd's Bush Empire tonight he was on fine form, leading his band (featuring vocalist Doogie White: 30% Ronnie Dio, 70% Billy Connolly) through a crowd pleasing set of solo classics & "hits" from his days with UFO & the Scorpions.
