First train trip

Here is Euan on the train. We were away down to Carnoustie for a change of scenery and since Geegee, Cattoo, Uncle Stewart and Auntie Emily were coming back up on Friday anyway, we decided to take the train and hitch a lift back with them.
Unfortunately, an early text from my father-in-law, informed me of cancellation of all trains between Aberdeen and Stonehaven, due to a derailed freight train in the night. Gr'untie Sheila was up staying due to my poor cousin being admitted to hospital, so she kindly drove us to Stonehaven to catch the train from there. We got to Carnoustie on time and from there went to Broughty ferry for lunch, then back to Carnoustie for a curry for tea.
Euan thouroughly enjoyed his journey and was well entertained with books and nibbles and various wee toys.
It was a fun day.
