The Grand Western Canal

Went for a trip out to Halberton this evening to get some shots of the canal. I couldn't believe how peaceful it was up there, we didn't see anyone all the time we were there besides a dog walker as we were leaving.

The canal runs from Tiverton to Taunton which is around 27 miles along the canal route (it's only about 15 miles by road) Gem and I attempted to cycle from Willand to Tiverton last summer but discovered just how unfit we were after about 4 miles! Maybe we'll have another go this year.
