Thistle Down

Love in Action

T'is love...when you,
In wondrous deeds and thought.
Try to make life easier,
And bear another's lot.

When you...release,
Yourself with tender care.
Enough to soothe another's soul,
And supplement her prayer.

Enough to give her strength,
And be sufficient to her power.
To conquer every downward pull,
Within her troubled hour.

So much...that she,
Makes reasoning...a part.
And by the sight of your kind acts,
She ties you to her heart.

He wears a 'Victor's Crown',
With free abandon from above.
By delving from his inward self,
A portion...solid in his love.
