Night Hawk
Night-Hawk flying,
Moving everywhere.
Forever zig-zagging,
Through the air.
Out in the twilight,
Hours are late.
Down by the trellis,
And through the gate.
Soft winds are blowing,
And day is just gone.
Flowers have closed,
And night comes on.
Streaks of sunset,
With darkened glows.
And a tinge of color,
That faintly shows.
O bird...of the skies,
All light is dying.
Night-Hawk...O night hawk,
Just keep on flying.
E.P. 1908 - 1989
Jason purposefully detached from his wing and his parachute will open momentarily. He landed, no problem, but his wing landed in someone's backyard.
