Statue commemorating the miners.
This statue is I think commemorating the miners of St Helens, the mines have long been closed.
Having been to Currys selected a new 17.3" laptop to replace my other not old computer which has some very peculiar habits, took out what I thought was my credit card to find it was a savings card! was my face red both with embarrassment and annoyance at my stupidity.
I had had to make several phone calls to estate agents and solicitor for information, that I don't know where I'm on head or heels this last week.
Having had the forms emailed to me from the solicitor on Sunday! on PDF files which I spent the afternoon downloading and reading...I needed a glass of wine stop me screaming.
If this is a bit of a ramble then you can guess why, have a appointment with solicitor to start the 'ball rolling' in earnest on Thursday.
have had a couple of chats with the buyer; which was fine, he knows the Sheltered housing company that I'm registered with and mentioned a couple of names..small world isn't?
He has said if he can pass on a word to help me he will.
I grabbed the camera as I was leaving the complex after buying the laptop which I returned for ( I bet the salesman didn't think I would return) ans shot this from the car, I was more pleased withe the sky than the statue....might try that another time from another vantage point.
Its gone rather dull here and I'm ready for more wine, will I become a wine-O I wonder.
cheers Penny.
