Bin day
One of three collections today, there I was standing on the door step in my night-ware not a pretty sight taking photo's of the bin men.
They did want to pose though.
Thought I'd get it done before the day stared its downward roll again.
To be honest its not the estate agents or the solicitor or the buyer that's my problem.
Its me! and the Sheltered homes, it would seem that I have to be homeless before I can be allocated a place, so why have they encouraged me to 'bid' online for any that I liked.
There is one I bid for at the beginning of May I'm the only bidder, much to the surprise of the man who I spoke to this morning who said I've never seen that happen before, he gave me the number of the Landlord which is Arena to find out what is happening.
It hasn't been re-advertised this week either....has it got my name on it I wonder?
I do hope so then I can really relax.
Unfortunately finding the correct department at Arena meant going three different people, it would have helped if I had said I was over 65 I suppose.
Of course I get an answer machine...when put through to the correct department, don't you just hate those things they would phone me back within 24hours.
In the meantime the agents have sent me the notice of 'Sold subject to contract'.
I thought the hardest part was selling...not now.
cheers Penny.
