Discovery of a new world
It starts with touching a real meteorite, passing a dark corridor and then entering this amazing room of lights and shadows. Half real, half virtual, with a moving grid and giving the impression of being almost on another planet.
We visited today with our friends the newly opened Fondation Louis Vuitton, the amazing building by architect Frank Gehry in the Bois de Boulogne. It is breathtaking and a joy to discover all the rooms in- and outside. The blip is from the artworks "Contact" by Olafur Eliasson and described on the webpage as:
Conceived specifically for Fondation Louis Vuitton ... Contact appear as a sequence of events along a journey. Moving through passageways and expansive installations, visitors become part of a choreography of darkness, light, geometry, and reflections.
Besides that another discovery started today:
The new website and interface of blipfoto. Wow, quite a change! Too early to speak about likes/dislikes, just the moment to get used to it for the next few days and then see what feels good about the new site and which elements I miss most.
