Working shot
Every single photo taken on an archaeological site has to be documented on a pro forma sheet. What the photo is, who took it, what direction it wa staken from etc. etc. This can be awfy tiresome when you are snapping hundreds of photos.
The site we are on has some wonderful views, but I was drawn towards this ;working shot'. Essentially this is me being lazy and taking extra photos to remind me what the next image is so that I dont have to write the thing up. Not good archaeological practice!
Today was a busy day opening all the evaluation trenches. The thing about working in the Western Isles is that you have tight deadlines imposed by the ferries to get the work done if you want to get home.
Busy week ahead.
