'Lone Cactus'

One more day of work to get through and I'm done for the year. Looking forward to having a break, these last few months have been hectic to say the least, but I feel like I'm on top of everything now at least.

Last night while taking yesterday's shot, I found this lone cactus growing out in the back paddock and today the first of the flowers bloomed. Amazing that none of us have ever spotted this before. We've had a few showers this afternoon too which has added a few nice raindrops to the flower.
