Hail storms over Causey Pike & Grisedale Pike

Similar weather to yesterday, by that I mean sunny one minute and torrential hailstorms the next, skies went from blue to black to blue again, and at times it was b-freezing! However, from a photographic point of view, what more can we ask.

This shot was taken from the A66 looking towards Braithwaite, and apart from a touch of clarity (and I mean touch) - and converting to black & white, it's a perfectly straight shot.

I could hardly believe the conditions, and it simply had to be todays blip.
