In the air

The flight was quick and the transfer hassle- free, but as predicted there is only the lightest dusting of snow here and all the lifts are closed. There's some skiing to be had further up the valley but supply is limited as everyone in the region wants a ski-pass there.

We had a lovely lunch and the hotel is stylish and comfortable (though the housekeeper can talk the hind leg off a mountain goat). We'll just have to find other ways to amuse ourselves...
