Ponta de São Lourenço

After the unexpected heat of yesterday the skies clouded over, so we headed out to the sea cliffs, passing flocks of wild canaries feeding noisily - and it got noisier still when the wind started howling up the cliffs. Fantastic metamorphic rock formations: this place is a geologist's wet dream!
