the dividing line

There were surprisingly few people around this afternoon .... perhaps everyone was doing last minute Christmas shopping. I'll be doing mine on Monday!

There's a route around Grasmere I've walked many times but always clockwise. Today I reversed it. The dip between the fells is Dunmail Raise and a major road through the county goes over it. i've mentioned it before as the weather can be totally different on the other side - sometimes much better, other times worse.
