Could things be improving?

It's been a desperate few days here - but there are the smallest signs that mum's antibiotics might just be starting to work - I do hope so!

I got out this afternoon and hoped to photograph redwings. There were mixed flocks of hundreds of redwings and fieldfares - but the redwings weren't co-operating at all - so here's a rather regal looking fieldfare!
