Out of the box

The tree is now up, lights on, even a few decorations! Cards up too!
These fir cones fill the copper pan on the fireplace, but are not for burning!
The village cafe was busier than ever today - I think they served 80 people! We were offered free, hot, home made mince pies - an offer to tempting to refuse! There were a few Christmas stalls and I made a surprise purchase of a hand turned wooden clock for my son in law.
Then more shopping for provisions in town. Fridges and freezer now full, with some items now stored outside!
