Christmas curling party

Today was the end of session one for the junior curling club.  They had a bonspiel then a quiz and after the break the coaches brought out trays for the youngsters to slide around on.  They had great fun.  They also had a competition for the best Christmas jumper and hat- which E won.   I think she won because we hadn't bought one from the shop.  Instead I had knitted a robin and some Christmas trees and had sewn them on to the back of her curling jumper; then added some tinsel and bobbins so her jumper was different from the ones bought in the shop.  She was of course delighted with the prize, a large chocolate Santa, which she promised to share with J.
