Break of dawn -Winter Solstice

Went to bed early last night which meant I did wake up early today. But that magic moment before sunrise didn't come until around 8:25 am, it's not the winter solstice for nothing after all. Taken from the guest room, the view through the window into the back garden and our back neighbours' houses. Did have to edit away the lens distortion. Here's hoping the winter won't be too cold and we'll soon have more and longer daylight again.
