Christmas Play
A dull but dry day with a stiff breeze.
We went to my Son's Church this morning because my 9 year old Granddaughter, Sophie, was taking part in the Christmas play. Various children had to tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas, including one who asked for a thousand pounds so that he could start a business which would become an equal with Apple Corporation. Sophie had to ask if Santa knew how she could deal with the wrongdoing in her life - and then concluded that she didn't need Santa but Jesus, as her Saviour.
She made us all very proud because it was quite a long and involved speaking part and she did it very well, as did all the other children. I am not at all sure that I could have remembered her script!
