Christmas work

I wonder if we all are now feeling good about Christmas? I hope so. In recent days some food production has taken place, today was the start of making the cake look festive. Well four cakes to be exact with one, possibly two, to be iced. Making almond paste is easy and I believe therapeutic, BUT a messy game. To roll the paste I use icing sugar and it flies into all the nooks and crannies around the work top. Everything touched from the kenwood, to taps and knobs on the drawers need a hot water wash afterwards. Oddly enough giving a feel good factor, or did that come from listening to Lenard Cohen.
