Deck the halls...

This is my second attempt at posting after trying to add to the map feature!

I started the day with the intention of capturing the best of the daylight on today, the shortest day of the year. The sun had other ideas! It has been grey and bleak, even the cars had their lights on by half past one.

We went to the Scottish National Portrait Gallery to see the BP Portrait Award. I highly recommend a visit. Each work was intriguing and awe inspiring, the level of detail and sense of three dimensional space in some of the paintings was fantastic, they beat any selfie!
