Fowlsheugh.
An educational trip to Fowlsheugh Bird Reserve tonight with one of the bird-experts from work. Although I would have found the trip interesting on my own, there's nothing like having an expert around to make it more fascinating... I can now spot the differences between Razorbills and Guillemots, kittiwakes and fulmars and shags and cormorants. We even spotted a couple of puffins! Apart from the smell (seriously - YUCK), we had a really good evening. When we got home M and I cooked up a butternut squash, roasted tomato and pancetta risotto, and cosied up on the sofa. Lovely relaxing evening.
