Good day at work today, despite the persistent rain. It was absolutely miserable all day! Managed to get to the gym early for Body Combat, then tying up loose ends. I did turn up at a meeting I'd forgotten about in a client's office with a Shave the Whales t-shirt on (as if being a 24-year-old female working as an Environmentalist in the Oil and Gas Industry didn't get me enough flack from the engineers as it is), but everyone was too polite to say anything mean. To my face, anyway.

When I got home, M was ranting about Scottish Hydro; they've been taking monthly payments from us and not putting it towards our bills, so now we 'owe' £1200 for gas alone. The money we've been paying has just been sitting in what's effectively turned out to be a savings account run my Scottish Hydro! What's worse is that it was M that rang us to check everything was OK - they hadn't even bothered to let us know we've not paid a bill since we moved in. They'll be able to use the money we've paid to clear the bill now, but we've had no apology and no explanation as to why they hadn't processed our house move. Grr!

There wasn't anything obvious to eat in the house to we made dinner from scraps - frozen prawns, lemon, peas, noodles and soy sauce. Surprisingly good. We watched Hot Fuzz and fell asleep on the sofa. Bring on the weekend!
