detail of a timber-framed house

We visited Quedlinburg today. A beautiful little town in the Harz mountains with loads of timber-framed houses. Weather wasn't beautiful but being away from home was very nice.
In the evening we attended a dinner with a comedy performance inbetween the five courses. It was really funny and the food was declicious. We're pretty sure, we'll do that again.
