MonoMonday – Festive (fruit)

Once upon a time, when I was English, the festive fruit was satsumas. Now it is cherries and mangoes – much more delicious! Both come into season just before Christmas (cherries grown in Victoria and mangoes in Queensland and the Northern Territory) Our school has a mango fundraiser every year and this year I bought 3 boxes (that's 60 mangoes!). Hoping to freeze at least one box full.

Mono really doesn't work very well for such brightly coloured, luscious fruit!
