Portrait Day.

I decided to mess around with some self portraits today which came out quite well but didn't have the courage to post here in the end.

However after taking a quick evening stroll along the river, this Feral Pigeon allowed me to get remarkably close so decided to test my new found skills out. If you know Windsor and occasionally go to the spot where people feed the swans, you can see the pigeons also lurking for the odd scrap that comes their way and thats where I grabbed this shot.

Not the most popular creature in the world and I toyed with the idea of calling this blip "sky rat" or "vermin". Anyway again photography has at least proved to me you can make something pleasant out of what may be considered quite the opposite.

General comments regarding the day, chilly, cold and wet at times again. Looking forward to baking in the heat next week. Oh and started to watch The Sopranos on sky anytime. That should keep me busy for a while and its about time I saw it.
