Grim day in Hackney

We both had a crap day today. You are getting increasingly disillusioned and irritated with work and it's really time you pursued that alternative career. There is no better time than now, so I want to encourage you to go for it.

My day was no better. An overbooked clinic, drowning in paperwork, getting caught in hailstones and downpours whilst trudging across Hackney, my shoes were saturated and my toes didn't dry out all day, my cold is still lingering on with a dull sinus headache, worked late, and all day was fielding emails about the fact that the Trust is trying to give us an absolutely massive pay cut because they don't believe we work as hard as we claim to. Talk about demoralising.
