Chef of the Year

I love the methods employed on Brick Lane by restaurateurs desperate to prove that their establishment is superior to all the others. My favourite is the one with a picture of Peter Barlow from Coronation Street, bearing his apparent verdict: "No disappointment!"

I like the way the truth of this restaurant's accolade becomes apparent only when you get close to the glowing sign.
