Low Afternoon Sun
9.9C with sunny spells and cloudy spells. Wind to 25 mph with gusts to 33 mph.
Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk after lunch. We walked up to the church and went down the field with the bridle path to the shore road. Then we went down to the beach via the level crossing in the little field.
The tide was almost fully in. There was almost no beach left to walk along so we walked along the back of the little dune line to the fishermen's huts at Westhaven. In the low afternoon sun the area in front of the huts looked busy with boats and creels tidied away. Silver Cat was on its trailer in front of the end hut where the owner's boat usually spends the winter with the red tractor parked nearby. The smaller boats were wrapped in tarpaulins and tied tight with rope. Not much will move before Spring.
