Kiwi Christmas

Today's the day ....................... for a well-travelled gift

Such excitement when we looked through all the mail that had arrived for us while we were away last week!

There was an airmail parcel that had come all the way from New Zealand from my good friend flying - or as I like to call her - Mrs F.  Now obviously, we will only open it on Christmas Day - but the wrapping paper was a joy in itself. 

If you didn't know - this is how kiwis spend Christmas.  The weather is obviously warmer and so barbeques are in order.  But you still need to hang out your stockings if you want Santa to pop by.

Thank you so much Mrs F for thinking about us.  We can't wait to see what's inside ..........................!
