Border Country

Today's the day ....................... for wind and rain

We battled our way southwards today back home to Kendal.

We were buffeted by strong winds all the way and there were speed restrictions on the motorway.  Lots of rain too - so at times it was very heavy going. 

On the positive side, it was incredibly mild for this time of the year and there was still lots of colour to be seen in the hills of the Scottish Borders ..........................
