Had a lovely day at Mum's putting up her Christmas decorations and watching the Strictly final. There was a minor hiccup when the fairy lights didn't work, but a quick trip to B&Q soon solved that. It's so hard decorating without Dad, and putting the tinsel round his Grandfather clock (a job that was always traditionally his), always breaks my heart. After we'd finished, and put all the presents under the tree, lit the fire and settled in for an evening of dancing.
