Mono Monday: Festive

I know we don't do selective colour on Mono Monday, but I did this shot of a bauble in straight mono and while I thought it looked "ok", I felt it was lacking something and fell short of today's theme.

So I reinstated the colour on the ribbon, and while I'm hanging my head in shame at having broken the MM rules, I have to say it looks a lot more festive to me.

All I can say in my defence is: "A big fat man in red with a white beard The Devil made me do it!".
