Festive Mono Monday

Had a busy-ish day today.  Made some lemon drizzle cup cakes and mini quiches for the Slimming World taster evening.  Had a lovely time.  We had a pass the parcel game, exchanged Secret Santa presents and ate some lovely food and drank non-alcoholic mulled wine. There were two hampers of food and a big box of vegetables and a bag of fruit  which were raffled off.  (I put on two pounds but I wasn't really bothered.  Think I must have got into the Christmas Spirit early.)

Neil came here this evening and I cooked him his usual meal - steak, curly fries and onion rings. 

The Mono Monday challenge is FESTIVE.  Not easy to be festive in black and white but  I have blipped the cake tin which I used to take my cakes to slimming club.  On top is a mince pie which I brought home - made by Lilian. it's been eaten now and it was very nice.
