Wow, tiring day!

The last few days leading up to Christmas Eve and Day are very busy, as in many homes.
Peeling, chopping, boiling, pastry, rolling, filling, getting stuff out of the freezer to defrost, meatball soup to prepare for Christmas Eve and Christmas Dinner.

Christmas Eve tends to be pretty hectic in our home with lots of family and friends present, lots of hilarity (much of it at the expense of myself and my friend Ian). It's always a great evening but very tiring when there is Christmas dinner to prepare the next day.

It's lovely when you get to that stage where you can sit down and relax. I like that bit :-)
