Winter Sun on The Ochils

I make no apology for posting yet another picture from Touchadam Crag on Gillies Hill, this time the afternoon sun lighting the Ochils behind the Wallace Monument.
A good reason to post this is that the fight to Save Gillies Hill is reaching a crucial stage. A planning application to restart quarrying has now been submitted and should it be accepted then this viewpoint and an area around it will either disappear or be substantially altered. This is over and above the environmental damage which will ensue and the effect on peoples' lives both in Cambusbarron and a significant part of residential Stirling.
