Darn Road Path

I had to deliver the last of the Christmas cards to friends in Bridge of Allan so took the chance to walk the dog along the Allanwater on the old Darn Road which eventually reaches Dunblane. The river was flowing quite fast and this normally quiet stream was in spate. There was much damage around this spot a couple of years ago so I was relieved that the footbridge was still in place. Care needs taken on it especially in wet weather.
