playing with macro

Too wet outside to do anything much, though we did have a very pleasant visit with BAT this morning, then took the boy home and visited with his mum for a while, then walked at the Warrens in some very wet rain. And this evening we looked through some old family pictures. 

I brought the wet rose inside to photograph. It's lit with the head torch they bought me for those photographic expeditions on the beach at night, and the bokeh came from tinsel. 
The rose isn't quite sharp enough but I am getting the hang of the macro lens a bit.
