There are beaches of a sort on Lake Victoria, this is a nice bar with a beach, called Tunza, which has been around since before I first came to Mwanza, unlike a lot of the more come lately places, 

I nearly got a fish eagle, but by the time I had grabbed the camera and focused, it was just too far away.
