Far from the Madding Crowd

With apologies to Thomas Hardy for stealing his title but it seemed entirely appropriate for today's blip. It being Christmas Eve there is the usual surreal sense of madness and last minute rush in the air so I took myself away to a place where there was no rush, no fuss and no silly man made madness. Just nature, sunshine, good old clean fresh air and lots of trees for company. As you can see, I wasn't the only one looking for sanctuary and solitude.
A very happy Christmas to one and all just in case I don't manage to get back here tomorrow.
